Combination packages consist of a white outer fiberboard screw-cap mailing tube with an inner HDPE plastic bottle. The outer mailing tube features a seamed metal bottom, crimped metal neck, and matching threaded metal screw cap. The 95kpa inner bottle is supplied with a lined plastic white screw cap. Shipper 89030-514 will accommodate a 50mL conical centrifuge tube as a primary container (not included), and optional BioSorb* absorbent strips (see the 89030-530 series). Shipper 89030-516 will accommodate five-hole protective foam insert 89030-538 (sold separately). Insert is constructed of die-cut hydrophilic polyurethane foam and includes a 1.9cm (³/₄") protective cover. It can accommodate the most commonly used sizes of blood collection tubes.
