This centrifuge is ideal when rapid serum or plasma is needed, as in coagulation testing, sample prep for stat chemistry, and cardiac profiles in the ER. It has settings for two, three, and five minutes. The two-minute setting produces serum or plasma equal to tubes spun for 7-10 minutes in conventional clinical centrifuges.
