Systems feature dual ¹/₃hp, CFC-free refrigeration systems that cool the upright stainless steel collector to -84°C (-119°F), a 12-port drying chamber (attached separately), and LCD that displays system operating parameters, set-up parameters, and alarm messages. View LED vacuum and temperature "waves" for an at-a-glance display of relative system vacuum and collector temperature. Red alarm light flashes and beeper sounds when an abnormal system event occurs. Sensor prevents refrigeration or vacuum start-up when moisture is detected in the collector chamber area. Vacuum break valve bleeds air into system when power to the freeze dryer or vacuum pump is shut off.

Equipped with a rear-mounted RS-232 port to transmit data, automatic start-up switch for collector cool down and vacuum pull down with manual override switches, and retractable 22.9cm (9") collector drain hose. Collector holds 4.5L of ice before defrosting.

Systems are available in benchtop or console models and with an optional fluoropolymer resin coating on the collector coil and chamber for processes involving corrosive compounds.

The 60Hz models are UL listed and conform to CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 1010.1. The 220/240V, 50Hz models are CE marked.
