Kits increase recombinant yields from any E. coli cloning vector by up to 10 times depending on the choice of competent cells. Use of E. cloni* 10G SUPREME electrocompetent cells generally yields a 10X increase and E. cloni 10G ELITE electrocompetent or chemically competent cells yields a 3-5X increase. Simply use the kits to ligate your insert into your favorite cloning vector. UltraClone ligations do not require purification before transformation, saving time and avoiding the loss of DNA.

Note: Kits with electrocompetent cells are recommended for use with Eppendorf*, Bio-Rad*, and BTX* electroporation cuvettes. They are not recommended for use with Invitrogen* electroporation cuvettes.
