Designed for visual accuracy and precise viewing. The 3- or 5-diopter, 12.7cm (5") diameter biconvex ground glass lens is mounted in a die-cast, aluminum-alloy shade attached to a spring-balanced arm. The lightest touch glides the light to any needed position, without any tightening devices. An electronic ballast and RFI filter makes magnifiers energy-efficient, providing 15% more light output. Magnifiers come with one 22W circline fluorescent bulb. Equipped with an “instant on” switch; no “hold down” required to turn light on.

Magnifiers with clamp have an arm reach of 114.3cm (45"), while the magnifiers with base have a 76.2cm (30") arm reach. Color: light gray.

The magnifiers with clamp also feature an "AH" bracket that raises the arm 5.1cm (2") off the mounting surface for maximum freedom of movement. Bracket requires only 0.64cm (¹/₄") of clearance between adjacent objects.

The 22W fluorescent replacement bulb is compatible with all Luxo magnifiers.
