This compact and reliable disruptor is a cost effective solution for cell lysis, DNA shearing, protein extraction, and mixing applications. Sonicates sample sizes from 0.2-100mL. Improved load monitoring and frequency tracking ensure that the probe operates more efficiently to deliver consistent sonication intensity at any given amplitude setting, leading to shorter processing times and greater sample-to-sample consistency. The probe can sonicate continuously, or for greater control, a thumb pulsing switch may be used. Accessory cup horn has an I.D. of 3.8cm (1¹/₂") and may be used for vessels with volumes up to 50mL and diameters up to 22mm (⁷/₈").
