Floating, anodized aluminum heat sink moves with the unit as it heats and expands, reducing glass breakage. Heat sink holds plates tightly, providing effective heat dissipation.

The upper buffer chamber (UBC) uses an in-line stopcock to drain into a removable container on the back of the unit. A silicone gasket provides a leakproof seal at the UBC. The lower buffer chamber can be removed to drain buffer separately from the UBC. Both chambers are fitted with safety interlocking lids that eliminate the risk of accidental shock.

Integral side clamps ensure a leakproof seal and even pressure across the gel. Sliding side clamps are mounted on the unit for easy set-up.
