Environmental surface sampling is made simpler and more efficient with the use of these ready-to-use bags. Sponges are supplied prehydrated with 10mL of neutralizing buffer that will neutralize several surface sanitizers including quaternary ammonium compounds, phenolics, iodine preps, chlorine preps, mercurials, formaldehyde, and gluteraldehyde. Sampling is performed by squeezing out prehydrated sponge’s excess buffer, wiping contact area with sponge, and returning contents to resealable bag.

Buffer has a two year shelf life from date of manufacture, and each package is marked with an expiration date. No refrigeration is necessary. Bags are packaged in foil liner bag to prevent buffer evaporation. Bag 11216-926 includes a sterile glove folded in a separate compartment below the sponge. Glove is accessible by tearing along perforation. Capacity: 532mL (18oz.). Dimensions: 23Lx11.5Wcm (9x4¹/₂"). Thickness: 2.5mil (0.064mm).
