The modified surface is stable for 12 months at room temperature under proper storage conditions and is suitable for immunological assays, fluorescence, and autoradiography. System also features an inert hydrophobic border that prevents cross-contamination between wells during processing after the chamber has been removed, a clear polystyrene cover with handle, and a blue frosted writing area for permanent sample identification. Etched numbers along the border of the chamber facilitate identification and microscopic orientation.
