These composite resins are composed of cross-linked agarose beads with micro-crystals of hydroxyapatite entrapped in agarose mesh. HA Ultrogel resins are an effective purification mechanism in a variety of processes, providing biomolecule selectivity complementary to traditional ion exchange or hydrophobic interaction techniques. Main applications are fractionation and purification of biomolecules from research and development scale to manufacturing. Ready-to-use, suspended in 1M sodium chloride with 20% ethanol as bacteriostatic.
