Used to control particulate and bacterial contamination in low-flow, small volume batch processing where a compact, self-contained assembly is desired. Applications in the pharmaceutical, electronic, chemical, biological, bioprocessing, food, beverage, and cosmetic industries. Disposable, self-contained unit with nylon 6,6 filter permanently assembled in a plastic housing that can be inserted directly into flow line in seconds. No binders, glues, surfactants, or resins are used.
Integral vent allows full medium wetting liquid filtration. The 10mm (3/8") hose barb type connections accept any flexible 9.5mm (3/8") I.D. tubing. Autoclavable prior to use and may then be repeatedly autoclaved up to 16 hours cumulative at 121°C (250°F) or up to 4 hours at 140°C (284°F). Maximum service temperature is 150°F at 50psi (must be strictly observed). Liquids filterable up to 75psi at ambient temperature; gases, up to 50psi.
