These ultrafiltration centrifugal devices are designed for concentration and diafiltration/buffer exchange of biological samples. The high-performance regenerated cellulose membrane maximizes surface area while minimizing protein polarization and adsoprtion at the membrane surface to provide reliable and consistent results. Membranes are rated for molecular-weight cutoff (MWCO) characteristics and typically provide more than 90% protein recovery for proteins larger than the membrane MWCO. Concentration factors range 150-fold to 400-fold and can be achieved in less than 30 minutes. Concentrators are compatible with swinging-bucket or fixed-angle rotors and no inverted spin is required.
