Stain is a sensitive, high-avidity, general protein stain. It will detect as little as 25-50ng of protein within 60 seconds. Because it is protein specific, the background noise can be easily eliminated with a low pH wash. Stained protein bands present as turquoise and do not fade over time, making them easy to photograph. Memcode stain is also reversible, allowing the blotting membrane to be reused in other experiments to save time and money.
