Simplify the isolation and identification of phosphopeptides from protein digests by using the specific interaction of phosphate groups with immobilized gallium. The gallium-chelated IDA-based resin provides less nonspecific peptide binding and greater specificity for both single and multi-phosphorylated peptides than non-chelated and NTA-based resins. Because the resin is already chelated, there is no chelation or equilibration required, allowing the total procedure to be run in about 15 minutes. The high binding capacity of approximately 150µg makes the kit compatible with classical methods for phosphopeptide analysis, as well as more sensitive and more powerful LC-MS and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometric methods. Thirty mini-spin columns containing a SwellGel* gallium (III) disc are included.
