These nitrogen cabinets are designed to protect, store, or assist in transporting critical materials such as research specimens or moisture-sensitive devices that require a dry, contaminant-free environment. Each cubicle has two nylon nipples to allow circulation of N₂ gas, which prevents moisture from penetrating the molecular structure of the stored materials. The gas nipples have exterior 90° hose barb fittings that accept 0.250-0.375" I.D. tubing. Each cubicle features an airtight, gasketed door and a built-in dial hygrometer that measures relative humidity within the chamber. Interchangeable acrylic shelves have perforated slots for optimum circulation. Amber-tinted units help protect light-sensitive materials from harmful UV rays. Individual cubicles are stackable, with nonslip, grip-tight feet.

Mounted cabinets consist of several cubicles mounted on a stainless steel support cart with casters. These portable storage units remain stable during transport, making them safer than individually stacked cubicles.
