This lightweight, compact digital benchtop refractometer combines a wide measurement range with automatic temperature compensation to produce an efficient and economical tool for diverse applications. The instrument meets the testing requirements of food and beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
Automatic measurements are conducted by an internal LSA detector and long-life LED that illuminates samples at 589nm, facilitating the measurement of dark colored or opaque solutions. The unit's durable hardened glass prism is sealed into a stainless steel sample well to provide a long service life. The unit has the capacity for up to seven additional custom scales, and is equipped with a memory that stores up to 1000 previous measurements, date and time stamped.
