This electronic, motorized cryostat with retraction incorporates a unique refrigeration system for independent specimen and knife cooling. Integrated Peltier goes to -60°C (-76°F). Cryostat features automatic cryo approach (ACA) system for exact and safe approach of specimen towards the knife. Unit also features an automatic cutting window and an intergrated vacutome system for stretching cryo-sections when cutting and for disposal of sections and debris when trimming. The ergonomic design of the unit allows user to work in either a standing or sitting position. Unit also features padded and heated arm rests, and electronic height adjustment.
