Ventilated workstation is designed for animal necropsies, surgeries, perfusions, and dissections. It is constructed from Type 316 stainless steel and features three stainless steel perforated work surface panels, two flush-down manifolds below the work surface to wash away debris, a sloped drain pan to prevent debris build-up, two large, removable stainless steel sinks with large radius corners, hot/cold water faucets, and spray gun assembly with 2.4m (8') of hose. The double pedestal design allows the user to sit or stand during procedures.

An integral electrically operated hydraulic lift system enables users to adjust the table surface height from 76.2-96.5cm (30-38") above the finished floor. A push-button rocker switch for controlling the height is located on the side of the table.

Fumes are pulled down and away from the user’s face when unit is connected to a negative air source. The exhaust is located at the top of the unit for connection to facility exhaust system. A manually adjustable damper regulates airflow and downdraft velocity. (Thermo Scientific B1020017)
