These professional tests detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in serum or urine in as few as seven to ten days after conception.

For lateral flow cassettes, test procedure involves adding four drops of specimen into the sample well and recording results. The standard serum/urine tests (87007-000 and -002) offer results in four minutes. The Ultra serum/urine tests (87007-006 and -008) provide results in four minutes for urine and five to eight minutes for serum. The one-step pregnancy test (87007-012) is for use with urine only and provides results in four minutes. The dipstick-style rapid result pregnancy strip test (87007-016) offers a simple procedure and interpretation. The test is designed exclusively for use with urine: the dipstick is placed into urine sample for at least 10 seconds, and results will be available in four minutes.

All tests have a sensitivity of 25mIU/mL, except for the Ultra serum/urine tests, which have a sensitivity of 12mIU/mL for serum and 20mIU/mL for urine. All tests have a specificity of >99%.
