Analyzers measure 0.2% to 100% of moisture content with a weighing system accuracy down to a resolution of 0.1mg with extremely high repeatability of the results. Accuracy is easily controlled through the DIN/ISO-compliant self-testing and self-calibrating capabilities, which are allowed by the built-in calibration weight and reproTEST function. Menu-driven prompts and an instruction card provide easy operator guidance. Sample chamber base plate is removable. A dust cover for the keyboard pad keeps analyzers clean. Heating unit/sample chamber features motorized open/close at the touch of a key to minimize external variables when taking initial weight.

Analyzers feature a variety of modes for accurate moisture analysis. An “asap” mode (Automatic (endpoint) Searching/Automatic Programming) provides quick determination of the shutoff criterion and saves the parameters in a drying routine. Other shutoff modes are fully- or semi-automatic, and the MA100 models offer timed shutoff plus fully/semi-automatic modes. Timer mode for the MA100 models is 3x999min. Customized display modes, such as percent moisture, percent dry weight (solids), g/kg residue, and weight loss mg, are easily visible on the backlit display.

Two infrared motorized heat sources are available for the drying chamber. The ceramic heating element heats quickly and evenly. The halogen lamp is easy to regulate. There are three drying modes to choose from: standard, quick, and gentle. Drying temperature can be set from 30 to 200°C in 1°C increments for moisture analysis of samples.

User-definable drying programs can be stored in the non-volatile memory for flexibility in analyzing a wide variety of samples. The MA100 models can store up to 30 programs. For process optimization and quality control, powerful statistics are generated for up to 9,999 values.

An RS232 interface port is standard on all models.
