Designed to produce ASTM Type 2 water for general laboratory applications such as reagent preparation, electrophoresis, or feedwater for humidifiers, autoclaves, and dishwashers. Purification process combines reverse osmosis, softening, and electronic chemical desalting for a nearly maintenance-free and inexpensive supply of pure water. Systems feature a four-line alphanumeric display; simple menu navigation; displays of product and feed water quality, rejection rate of RO modules, tank level, and temperature; automatic RO-membrane back flush with RO-permeate; constant flow rate; several alarm and service functions; automatic regeneration of the EDI stack; serial interface RS-232; and a PLC interface for external communication. The flexible display unit can be mounted at the top, bottom, or in a remote location up to 2.8m (9.2') from the system.

Product water can be stored in an open gravity or optional closed pressurized tank. With use of a closed pressurized tank, the product water can be distributed to the point of use with up to a 3 bar pressure, with no need for an additional distribution pump.
