A unique carbon-resin combination allows the 611 systems to produce ultrapure water with a resistivity up to 18.2mOMEGA-cm with a total organic carbon (TOC) content as low as <1ppb. All wetted parts of the systems are constructed of inert materials to guarantee the highest water quality. A four-line alphanumeric display continuously indicates water quality in mOMEGA-cm or µS/cm with compensated or non-compensated temperature.

Integrated, microprocessor-controlled process logic monitors the system status to provide high purity water on demand. During periods of inactivity, standby mode recirculates the water 15 minutes every hour to maintain purity. Systems also feature automated dispensers and RS-232 serial ports. A 0.2µm PES membrane filter capsule that meets HIMA and ASTM F838-83 guidelines ensures a bacteria-free filtrate. Filtrate water exceeds ASTM, NCCLS, ISO, and USP reagent water standards.

Systems are available in four different configurations to meet specific laboratory needs. The arium 611 DI features unique carbon-resin filters for all critical lab applications. The arium 611 UV has a UV lamp and is suitable for low TOC applications such as HPLC. The arium 611 UF has an ultrafilter for low endotoxin applications such as cell culture. The arium 611 VF has an ultrafilter and UV lamp, making it an ideal system for laboratories that perform both low TOC and low endotoxin applications.

Systems are designed, developed, and produced under a DIN-ISO 9001 certified quality management system. Each unit is tested during production to ensure the highest product quality and security; a validation guide is available on request.

Each cartridge kit consists of one inlet pack, one polishing pack, and two final filters. The dispensing gun allows high quality water to be provided up to 2.4m (2.6yds.) from the system. Once installed, the dispensing gun becomes part of the recirculation loop, maintaining the high purity of the water within the system up to the point of use. The removable display/dispensing unit is a dispensing gun equipped with a display to monitor water quality while remotely dispensing. This is supplied with a wall bracket. The TOC instrument is a stand-alone analyzer for determining the exact TOC content of ultrapure water from one or more sources. It has a measuring range of 1-300ppb TOC and has an RS-232 interface for output to a PC or printer.
