The UniRack is a versatile and easy-to-use centrifuge rack designed to offer maximum flexibility while using minimal counter space. It is constructed of autoclavable polypropylene and offers the choice of 80- or 60-position format to suit varying storage needs. One side can hold up to 80 tubes of any of the following types: polystyrene or polypropylene 10mm and 12mm tubes, 1mL to 5mL cryogenic vials, 1.5mL and 2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes, or screw cap microtubes from 0.5mL to 2.0mL. The flip side of the rack can hold up to 60 PCR† or microcentrifuge tubes of 0.2mL to 0.5mL size.

Racks may be firmly stacked up to four units high, using anchor pins supplied with each rack. Each rack comes with two removable handles, which also allow for safe stacking. For additional sample protection, a transparent lid is available. The lid permits a clear view of the rack contents and does not interfere with the stacking of racks. For labeling purposes, sides of rack may be written on with a felt-tip pen.
