DBT-series freeze dryers offer two refrigeration options to accommodate all processing requirements, from aqueous to organic samples. Stainless steel condenser handles 3L of condensate in 24 hours, with an overall capacity of 7L. Condensers have smooth walls and rapid hot gas defrost for complete defrosting in less than 10 minutes. Draining is easy via a front-mounted drain hose.

Lyo-Centre control system monitors condenser temperature and vacuum levels with easy visible status on the LCD display. Audible alarms notify when pre-set running times are reached or when the vacuum pump oil needs changing. One-button automatic start-up initiates all system functions in the correct sequence for error-free operation. Units also come with temperature/vapor pressure conversion button and RS-232 connections.

EL models, with condenser temperature of -85°C (-121°F), are ideal for freeze drying with products that contain organic solvents, such as acetonitrile, acetic acid, and other solvent fractions.

Caution: Acrylic manifolds are not recommended with solvents.
