Emergency showers and eye washes are required by ANSI Z358.1 to be supplied with "tepid water." These mixing valves provide a safe and plentiful supply of tempered water when used in conjunction with a potable hot water source.

Valve 14216-168 features dual elements that are capable of supplying a total of 227L/min. (60gpm), enough to support three showers and/or eye washes. Valve 14214-372 features a single 95L/min. (25gpm) capacity thermostatic element capable of supporting one shower or eye wash. A positive hot water shutoff protects against cold water supply failure and a cold water bypass provides for cold flow in the event of element failure. Valve 14224-242 has a 26.5L/min. (7gpm) capacity that supports most single eye wash stations.

The valve supports recirculating systems for ease of system design, can be repaired without removal from the system, and compensates for supply line temperature and pressure changes.
