MediaKap filters are designed to sterilize and clarify culture medium or buffer solution via a 0.2µm DynaFibre* membrane. MediaKap Plus filters utilize an advanced DynaFibre membrane that further increases filtration efficiency and dramatically reduces the time required to filter serum-enriched medium. Both filter styles can be operated by gravity or under pressure by a peristaltic pump or pressure vessel. Filters are available in five different sizes, all of which filter the designated volume in 15-20 minutes. All filters are supplied sterile, and each size is available with the option of a filling bell that protects the sterile filling environment and reduces the risk of contamination.
