Stretchable lanyards feature a specially woven, shock-absorbing inner core that expands up to 1.1m (3.6') to reduce fall arrest forces to 408kg (900lbs.) or less. Lanyards stretch from 1.2-1.8m (4-6') allowing for maximum maneuverability while reducing the chances of tripping, snagging, or dragging. The heavy-duty, tubular outer jacket serves as a backup to the inner core. A unique warning flag signals when lanyard is unfit for service due to previous falls. The integral bright red core makes visual inspection easier and more reliable. Lanyards weigh only 0.9kg (2lbs.) and handle working loads up to 141kg (310lbs.).

Lanyard 56619-054 has two locking snap hooks with 1.9cm (³/₄") gate openings. Lanyard 56619-056 also has two locking snap hooks; one with a 1.9cm (³/₄") gate opening, the other with a 6.4cm (2¹/₂") gate opening.
