Blood collection tubes are designed to ensure the preservation of whole blood samples for immunophenotyping by flow cytometry. The preservative contained within Cyto-Chex tubes maintains the integrity of the white blood cell cluster of differentiation (CD) markers. Samples can be stored for one to seven days, and are stable at room temperature for convenient transport and storage. Tubes increase lab efficiency by decreasing labor time as well as allowing repeated analysis of stored samples.
