Temp-Chex thermometers are immersed in a vial of propylene glycol solution so readings will not fluctuate with the opening and closing of doors. Each thermometer is encased in a durable plastic case for protection and containment in case of breakage. The thermometers attach magnetically or adhesively to refrigerator, freezer, or incubator walls. Thermometers are easy to read and have markings permanently fused to the body.
