This high-quality polypropylene 96-well microplate is coated with a 200nm thick layer of silicone dioxide for a chemical resistance similar to glass while retaining the advantages of polypropylene. This eliminates the need to use glass limited-volume inserts with plastic microplates. Microplate is chemically resistant, will tolerate temperatures from -80 to 80°C (-112 to 176°F), and is excellent for pharmaceutical applications where polystyrene or polypropylene microplates are not applicable.
