The pure rosin, 100% copper wick braids are made of the finest oxygen-free, oil-free fine gauge wire and then coated with Type R flux, which cleans connections thoroughly during desoldering to ensure maximum solderability.

The no-clean flux braids removes up to four times more solder than the conventional wick, and extracts the solder much faster than wicks based on Type R fluxes. The residue left behind is halide-free and nonconductive.

The unfluxed desoldering braid is ideal for any soldering process, especially water-soluble applications.

All soldering braids are vacuum-packed on static-dissipative spools and meet MIL-F-1425600 Type R, NASA Spec. NHB 5300.4, NPC200-4 and SP-5002.
