Use for human nucleic acid and protein expression analysis, artificial chromosome mapping, protein binding studies, and genome comparisons. The H25K whole human genome microarray contains long oligonucleotides capable of quantitatively detecting >300,000 transcripts in a single hybridization step. This one spot-one spot* design makes use of the most up-to-date, fully annotated gene list, bioinformatics, oligo design, and synthetic oligonucleotides to enable extremely high specificity and sensitivity for streamlined data analysis and mining. In addition, the microarray eliminates the bioinformatic noise from chimeric sequences, pseudo-genes, and non-coding regions.
The Discover* chip human DNA microarray contains 380 genes selected from 30 functional groups to provide broad physiological and transcriptional information. Each microarray was synthesized and printed with optimized and melting temperature-matched 70mers under ISO Class 5 (FED-STD-209E Class 100/M3.5) microarray cleanroom conditions. Each Discover Chip microarray includes four unique negative control oligo sequences to avoid cross-hybridization. The uniqueness for each control is created through a computational comparison of the control sequence against the public sequence databases.
