Large capacity centrifuges use high speed and force capable of producing platelet-poor or platelet-free plasma while greatly reducing processing times. These single-speed and variable speed centrifuges feature all-welded steel construction, a cycle counter to monitor usage, and an audible end-of-run indicator. A double-encased brushless DC motor provides smooth and quiet operation with low vibration.
