This waterproof portable turbidimeter allows the user to measure turbidity quickly and efficiently in the range of 0-1000NTU with a choice of units: NTU, FTU, FNU, ASBC, or EBC. In the range of 0-40NTU the meter offers a ratiometric range that provides EPA, GLI method-2 equivalent numbers. It offers a dual source LED that allows readings that comply with both EPA 180.1 and ISO 7027. Turbidimeter has a typical battery life of 2500 hours on four AA batteries, and a datalog capacity of 100 points which can later be downloaded to a printer or computer through the RS-232 interface. It also offers excellent correlation with online turbidity instruments and accepts 2.5cm (1") cuvettes.

The turbidity standards kit includes five 125mL (4.2oz.) bottles of primary turbidity calibration standards in 0, 1, 10, 100, and 1000NTU. These primary standards can be used to calibrate the turbidimeter to assure proper operation for the range of interest, and as secondary standards, to verify the validity of calibration. Kit comes ready to use, requiring no preparation or dilutions. Standards consist of non-toxic polymer beads suspended in ultrapure water and are safer to use than Formazin standards.

Turbidimeter meets IP67 specifications and complies with both EPA 180.1 and ISO 7027 methodologies.
