The velocity alarm measures the face velocity (not exhaust duct static pressure) and displays the value on a digital display. Unit consists of a high-performance, corrosion-resistant sensor mounted in the lining of the hood and an easy-to-calibrate velocity monitor (with power transformer) mounted on the hood fascia. The system can be installed on existing or new fume hoods. A red LED provides a visual signal while a powerful alarm gives an audible signal. Corrosion-resistant sensor is specially made to withstand a variety of harsh fume hood conditions.
