For examining fluorescent samples in a fully lit environment. High-intensity UV brilliantly illuminates TLC plates, EB/DNA sequencing, or fluorescent material. Special contrast control filter absorbs UV for viewing samples fatigue-free with no “blue haze.” Access opening features a lever-lift curtain for easy entry with materials. Bottom plate is removable for placement over a transilluminator. Soft rubber viewport offers ample space to accommodate eye glasses.

Model C-70 features two 15W shortwave and two 15W longwave tubes side-mounted on cabinet to deliver high intensity UV. Three rocker switches allow use of interior white light, shortwave and longwave UV separately or in combination. Model C-71 provides only high-intensity longwave UV via four 15W longwave tubes.

The 115V models are ETL and ETL-C listed. The 230V models are CE marked.
