The ChromaDoc-It system is ideal for simple, accurate and repeatable quantitative determination of TLC plates. System includes a digital color camera, a Chromato-Vue* cabinet, and image capture software for brilliant color TLC images.

The digital camera features 5.0 megapixels, 640x480 to 2592x1944 resolution, 4x optical zoom lens, TLC filters, and a diopter. The cabinet features built-in overhead 254/365nm UV and white light with 15W shortwave and longwave UV tubes positioned on two sides of the cabinet for uniform illumination. Cabinet dimensions: 50.2Wx42Dx40Hcm (19³/₄x16¹/₂x15³/₄").

The image capture software is compatible with Windows* 98, ME, and 2000 operating systems with a USB interface. The capture software controls camera functions including live image preview, focus and exposure settings, and image saturation warnings. It also features enhancement and annotation, detailed and configurable reporting, and history tracking.

The optional Doc-It* 1D analysis software loads on a separate computer for analysis of gels, plates, and membranes. Features include automatic lane and band detection, quantitative analysis of lanes and bands, multiple MW calibration, background correction, image enhancement, and reporting capabilities.
