These crosslinkers have both research laboratory and industrial applications with short range UV (models CL-1000 or CX-2000), mid-range UV (model CL-1000M), or long range UV (model CL-1000L). They provide an exposure instrument that utilizes UV energy for curing applications or for bonding DNA to a medium. The internal microprocessor measures and controls UV output, which ensures maximum, uniform energy efficiency. Units can be preset or manually controlled. Preset exposure delivers 120,000µJ or five minutes of exposure. Units feature a large LED display and touch panel that displays time or energy settings. Wavelength can be interchanged by switching the UV tube and calibrating with the appropriate UV sensor. The sensor then recalibrates the unit to the new wavelength. The UV crosslinking procedures optimize the use of the ultraviolet energy and ensure that crosslinking is consistent. Units feature a large internal chamber and a UV-blocking viewing window.

The CL series crosslinkers feature a door while the model CX-2000 crosslinker features a pull-out drawer.

All models are ETL and ETL-C safety certified. The 230V models are CE marked.
