These autoclavable, highly durable, polycarbonate cryogenic vial storage boxes are designed for use with VWR CryoPro cryogenic vials (see 16001-100 series). The storage boxes may be used at temperatures from -196 to 121°C (-385 to 250°F). Five different models accommodate various sizes and numbers of vials. The 100-place boxes will accommodate only 1-2mL vials with internal thread finishes. A transparent cover allows the user to see the contents of the box, and is keyed to the base to prevent misalignment. Printed with a series of squares (numbered from 1 to 25, 1 to 81, or 1 to 100), the surface accepts writing with markers, facilitating inventory control. Boxes feature colored grids (25- and 81-place boxes) or colored bases (100-place boxes) in your choice of blue, green, red, or yellow. Removal of vials is facilitated by a vial picker supplied with each storage box.
