Ultrasonic cleaners provide highly effective and efficient cleaning of laboratory glassware and instruments. They incorporate the same rugged, high-power 40kHz ultrasonic transducers found in industrial systems. These Langevin-type metal/ceramic devices are coupled with a frequency-sweep function that ensures uniform cleaning.
Cleaners feature a mechanical 60-minute timer, clear LCD readout of parameters, continuous hold function, and a high/low power switch that provides 30% less power for a more delicate cleaning action. Units also feature a bottom-mounted drain, except for the 1.9L (0.5gal.) models. Several units feature a heater that stabilizes the temperature at 60°C (±5°C).
