The microprocessor temperature control system can be set in 1° increments. LED indicates actual chamber temperature. Air-cooled, hermetically-sealed dual compressors work in unison and cycle on demand of the microprocessor temperature controller. The automatic voltage compensator detects line frequency, monitors incoming voltage, and adjusts compressor voltage to reduce wear and tear on the compressors.

The microprocessor monitor/alarm system features audible and visual indicators to keep the operator informed of over-/under-temperature conditions, power failures, low battery, and door ajar.

Modern design includes an easy-to-grasp handle for one-handed operation. Dual wheel, locking swivel casters allow mobility as well as secure positioning. Hinged grille swings out, exposing the foam air filter for easy cleaning or replacement.

Industrial-grade cabinets are constructed of high-quality, heavy-gauge, cold-rolled steel. The powder-coated finish is rust- and chip-resistant. RS-232 and 4-20mA analog outputs are standard.

Upright freezers feature a triple-point silicone door gasket, three fixed stainless steel shelves (bottom of unit acts as fourth shelf), lockable casters, and a vacuum relief port for easy reentry following door closings. Acoustical mufflers and sound absorbing foam in the freezer base reduce the noise level in the lab. To reduce cold air loss, units feature four inner compartment doors.

Chest freezers feature a sleek, low-profile cabinet design that provides easy access to inventory systems. Spring-loaded hinges counterbalance the lid and ensure proper alignment, smooth closure, and a tight seal against the flexible gasket. Polystyrene sub-lids reduce cold air loss.
