This easy-to-operate meter provides fast readings on a color-coded scale. It quickly indicates over and under dB readings. Measures from 54-126dB in seven ranges: ±3dB around 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, and 120dB. Switch permits weightings for either A (frequencies from 500-10,000Hz or 0.5-10kHz) or C (frequencies from 30-10,000Hz or 0.03-10kHz). Features include an analog output for connecting to chart recorders, a maximum button for locking on highest reading for peak sounds, and a switch for selecting fast or slow response.

A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
