These refrigerated microcentrifuges run on a powerful brushless motor and feature a high cooling capacity, yet a small footprint. An intuitive LCD control panel with ergonomic control knob operates g-force conversion, five acceleration and deceleration speeds, pre-selection of running time, and a new "Pre-Cool" feature for rapidly cooling down the rotor chamber. Program allows up to 99 runs and includes an imbalance identification system with automatic shut-off. Microcentrifuges also carry a motor-driven lid-locking system for extra safety.

The 24- and 36-place rotors hold 1.5/2.0mL tubes at a 45° angle. Hermetically-sealed rotor 97009-886 includes an aerosol containment lid.
