Vinyl sealing tape with pressure sensitive acrylate adhesives provide a secure seal on all polystyrene, polypropylene, and polycarbonate microplates (including 384- and 1536-well plates). Sealing tape works to minimize sample evaporation as well as well-to-well cross-contamination. All tape is supplied with removable tabs to facilitate sample identification.
Sealing tape 89022-208 is clear and scored with a self-closing "X" to permit repeated pipet piercing. This tape also works well for short-term sample storage. Sealing tape 89022-212 is light blocking, non-fluorescent, and non-pierceable. It can be applied to plate tops or bottoms to protect light sensitive samples. Both sealing tape types are nonsterile.
