The Standard Model 1000 shaker combines the size and economic benefits of a mini-shaker with the orbit and speed of a more traditional unit. The space saving, low profile design fits easily into most fume hoods and incubators. A cast aluminum base offers durability and added stability. The variable speed microprocessor control provides consistent uniform mixing action, and the powerful triple eccentric drive and brushless motor ensure reliable service in continuous duty. A basic speed knob with 1-10 dial settings controls all adjustments.

Shakers are equipped with a ramping feature that slowly increases speed to the desired setpoint to avoid splashing or sample loss. Units feature a spill-resistant design that channels fluids away from internal components. Shakers can be run in cold rooms, incubators, and CO₂ environments from 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F).
