Simple operation allows unit to take readings in less than a second. Non-invasive, no-touch measurements are ideal for food preparation, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, petroleum products, cleanrooms, electronics, and field use. Unit takes Celsius and Fahrenheit readings of solids, semi-solids, and liquids. Minimum/maximum feature allows viewing of highest and lowest readings at any time. Thermometer's memory recalls individually captured temperatures and displays the average of all readings made and the difference between two readings. Audible, user-settable, high and low alarms signal out-of-range conditions. Hold freezes the display at the current reading. Backlighting permits viewing in low light conditions.
