VWR Ultra Low Temperature Upright Freezer -86 to -50 deg C, 368L (13cu.ft.)

The microprocessor temperature control system in the VWR Ultra Low freezers maintains constant freezer temperature. The temparature can be set in 1° increments. The Ultra Low freezer has a dual compressor system which is air cooled and hermetically sealed. On board there is a microprocessor alarm sytem with audible and visual indicators. The system alerts the user to power failures, low battery, door ajar, and over/under temperature conditions. RS232, 4-20mA ouputs are installed for connection to house alarm systems. Incoming voltage is monitored by the automatice voltage compenstor to ensure constant voltage to the compressors. The cabinet is constructed of heavy gauge cold rolled powder coated steel and is rust and chip resistant. Casters are dual wheel swivel and locking. There is a hinged grill which swings out for easy filter cleaning or replacement. The door has an easy grip handle and a triple-point silicone door gasket. The three stainless steel shelves are fully adjuustable. The floor of the refrigerator is the fourth shelf and there are four inner compartment doors. A 1in (2.5cm) access port is included.
