ABC vials are constructed of Type 1 clear borosilicate glass and feature a superior thread design that provides a more secure seal to the closure, as well as a 40% wider opening than standard screw-top vials. The closures feature Wheaton "Super Septa," a low extractable septa that is optimal for GC/MS applications. Polypropylene ABC 9mm screw-thread caps are available in six liner types. Convenience packs include 1.8mL vials packaged in a recyclable PETE plastic clamshell and caps in a separate bag to help prevent particulate contamination.
