Manufactured from soda-lime glass, these staining dishes resist stains from Eosin and Hemotoxylin, and come in either a 20-slide or 50-slide configuration. The 20-slide dish is designed for staining 75x25mm (3x1") microscope slides. The 50-slide dish includes a slotted, stainless steel rack that holds 50 microscope slides of the following sizes: 75x25mm (3x1"), 75x38mm (3x1¹/₂"), and 75x51mm (3x2"). The rack is made of non-tarnishable stainless steel and resists most staining solutions. The handle is permanently attached, but hinged to permit closure of the dish and easy insertion and removal of the microscope slides. Approximate interior dimensions for 20-slide dish: 80Lx55Wx35Dmm (3¹/₈x2³/₁₆x1³/₈"). Approximate interior dimensions for 50-slide dish: 185Lx88Wx68Dmm (7⁵/₁₆x3¹/₂x2¹¹/₁₆").
