For use with fresh, sea, or polluted water. Meter features an IP67 waterproof, impact-resistant case and a field-replaceable electrode module. IP67 rating means that the meter can be immersed in water to a depth of 1m for 1 hour without any water incursion. Measure dissolved oxygen and temperature (°F or °C) simultaneously with one-hand operation using YSI’s proven polargraphic technology and Precision* thermistors. Features include a large backlit display, built-in calibration chamber, low battery indicator, automatic push-button calibration, automatic temperature compensation for dissolved oxygen readings, altitude temperature compensation, and manual salinity input. Meter runs on four alkaline C-cell batteries (battery life is over 2000 hours at 25°C).

Membrane kit 14236-068 includes six screw-on 1.25mil membrane caps and one bottle of KCl electrolyte solution. Small carrying case 13501-990 fits the instrument and a 3.7m (12') cable. Form-fitted carrying case 13501-982 includes a shoulder strap.
